Since quite a few patients are able to grow their own medical marijuana, some have abused the system and have sold marijuana to be used as a recreational drug. While marijuana has shown its usefulness in helping some of the sickest patients, they are not helping society by making an illegal and controversial drug more readily available to the public. On the other side of the coin in regard to marijuana is legalization for recreational purposes. Unified Modeling Language (UML) In software engineering, the Unified Modeling Language (UML) is a standardized modeling language that facilitates to create a graphical depiction of the object oriented systems under development. The UML is utilized for specifying, building, visualizing and documenting the software artifacts for the software application is to be developed. The UML adopts a combination of various concepts including the Booch, Object Modeling Technique (OMT) and Object Oriented Software Engineering (OOSE). By utilizing these concepts the UML provides a single platform for describing and modeling the software systems. However, there are various limitations of the UML, as it focuses on software rather than hardware (Overgaard, Selic and Bock, 2000). In other words, there are ma ny issues in building the UML of the real-time systems include: the description of hardware elements, time constraints, communications tasks and network modeling. Many solutions have been developed to overcome these issues and one of the solutions is to build the diagrams in three (3) tier structure of the system. In the first tier the object building and software construction would focus on the software architecture, whereas, the system architecture would focus on the hardware and communications aspects of the system (Lou, 2000). The Tunze Osmolator water level controller system relates to the systems based on hardware more as compared to the software implementation. As described above, therefore, it can be stated that the implementation of the UML notation is quite difficult for the systems entirely based on hardware, time constraints and communications tasks. As the Tunze Osmolator includes the hardware and communications tasks, therefore, comparatively the UML notation cannot be as fruitful as for the data-intensive applications or the software applications mostly based on the software. The length and width Essay This is due to the electron s for a long distance than before. Thus we say the resistance increases. When the width of the wire increases, the hindrance for the flow of electrons increases. Because the space through which electrons flow increases. From this preliminary experiment I will increase the length of the wire up to 30cm in order to get the reliable results. The reason why I chose the thin wire is because to get a high resistance and therefore it is easy to measure. I have used three different widths because I want to find out width gives the best results. To get precise measurement I will measure the value of the current and voltage up to two decimal places. Obtaining evidence This is how the set up of my apparatus looks like. First I join everything together and check if everything is in the right place. Then I adjust the 30cm length of wire to the length of 5cm, 10cm, 15cm, 20cm and 25cm, with the help of the crocodile clip. After that I change the resistance by means of the variable resister to get an accurate measurement /result of the current and voltage for each length. The safety here is to put the things (e. g. paper, books, exercise books etc. which are inflammable) to a side, so that it cannot come into contact with the wire. This is in regard to change in resistance caused by the charge on the length of the wire. This is in regard to the change in resistance caused by the change in length of the wire. As far as concerning the change in resistance due to change the width of the wire are anomalous. Analysis My experiment shows longer the wire higher the resistance. That is, when the length of the wire increases, resistance increases. Resistance is directly proportional to the length of the wire. If I double the length of the wire, the resistance also get doubled as a result. My experiment ,in respect of the conductor with the length of 15cm, shows that the current flow is directly proportional to the potential difference. The voltage ? current In respect of other length of the conductors (5cm, 10cm, 15cm, 20cm and 25cm) there is a variation in the second decimal of the constant figure. These discrepancies may be due to the slight changes of the external temperature of the conductor when current passes through the conductors. It may be also due to the reading of the ammeter and voltmeter by the eye. Evaluation My results are reasonably good as far as concerning the change of resistance due to the change in length of the conductor. My results are fairly good as far as concerning the Ohms law. That is, the current passes through the conductor is directly proportional to the potential difference across the conductor provided the temperature remains constant. My results were not at all good as far as concerning changes of the resistance due to changes in the width of the conductor. My graph which shows the resistance and length of the conductor is a straight line which passes through the origin and 3 points. Two points stays out of the line. For the variation of the resistant, I could not draw one line on one graph and I have drawn 5 lines on one graph. I could not draw my conclusion on the graph because the variations of the width are not great enough to produce significant variation in the resistance. Only 2 points fell on the line and the third one slipped out. If the straight line passes through 3 points on the graph we can depend on the reliability (length against resistance graph). In contrast in the width against resistance graph, only 2 points falls on the straight line. Therefore I cannot depend on the reliability. This anomaly is due to the fact that the wires which I have chosen are not considerably vary in thickness (width). Another way of doing that is to take reading using the constantan wire and then the second reading connecting 2 wires as shown in the prediction and keep on doing this for 3, 4 wires. The anomalous points on the graph (2 points) may be due to the crocodile clips which were not properly attached. There may be lack of specification in observing the ammeter and voltmeter with the eye. There may be fluctuation in the external and in the internal temperature of the conductor. I can use a conductor made of nichrome which is an alloy of 60% nickel, 24% iron and 16% chromium. General Information Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) which is found in all living thing and one of the building blocks of the body. (1, 2, 3) The molecule is found in the nucleus of the cell and it is a double helix molecule and it looks like a twisted ladder. If it was unwound the molecule would be 6 feet in length! (2) DNA has 3 nucleotides which are sugar, base, and phosphate. (1) The four bases, which are adenine (A), thymine (T), cytosine(C), and guanine (G) and they are all Nitrogen bases and there are about 3 billion of them.(1, 2, 3, 4) Adenine and thymine always pair up with one another and cytosine and guanine always pair together. (1, 2, 3, 4) In the cell there is also the RNA which acts as the messenger for the DNA because the DNA is too big to leave the nucleus. (1) RNA also doesn’t have thymine, instead it has uracil. (1, 2, 3, 4) The RNA then goes off to tell the ribosomes to make protein for parts of your body that need it the most. (1) Genes are the heredity material that is made up by DNA. (1, 2, 3) Your genes are all have from your mother and half from your father. (2) All of your genes are inside chromosomes which carry your genes. (2, 3, 4) The chromosomes carry thousands of your genes and your DNA will replicate your genes so it stays the same. (1, 2, 3, 4) If the gene code is changed it will cause a mutation. If you think about it, the Human Genome Project could make people rethink life itself because there is so much technology today that is being used for medical purposes. But you have to think of this new field of science is like opening Pandora’s Box because we don’t know if there are side effects to these treatments and ideas. In conclusion, the Human Genome Project is the start of amazing new ideas to cure cancer or rare diseases, but is it right to mess with life? American life Essay

Who says grabbers are only for narratives? Some of the best expository pieces start out with sentences that capture the readers’ attention. The authors from different literary genres give their own attention grabbers to make their pieces more attractive and more suspense from the beginning up to the end. According to Ruhanie Perera (2007), â€Å"Each creator brings with them their values and beliefs shaped by their education and exposure to English Literature, but their search is the same – for the creative, the bold, the sharp and the fresh. † However, expository grabbers are not created only for narratives but for all kinds of situations like in the field of soccer. Deep down in the ocean lurks a dangerous killing machine. This is one of the examples that we hear in soccer. It is a form of attention grabber to make the players become aware of their actions. From this aspect, it only means that any attention grabber must be new from the ears, minds, and eyes of the audience. Many of us like soccer. We watch different plays and games on television about soccer. This is somehow part of American life. Because of this, we hear different attention grabbers from the announcers, coaches, and players. When these people say their expository grabber, the crowd yells and feels that there is hope for success. Like narratives, attentions grabbers could be heard in the beginning of the event. Expository grabbers make each situation noble and powerful. In soccer, attention grabber means a lot of things – it becomes the life and endurance of the team to work hard and win the game. That is why even in this field, expository grabber is very important. In conclusion to this, it can be said that expository grabbers lift the minds and hearts of the audience or readers. It gives power and indirect control to the spectators. The people may not realize this but they were influenced in freedom and captivation.
